Craft Kings in Mount Nebo

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and this was the best food we had our entire trip out here. Great service, great food, great local beers! Beautiful views too.

Staff was very friendly even when we came in 40 minutes before close. The food was great too. Would recommend for sure!

My friend had been recommending Craft Kings for about a year before I finally went. At had a chic vibe, very clean and inviting, and a great selection of craft beer. The staff were very kind and generous with their time. I had the Louisville Slugger with fries, and I have to say, I think that was the greatest burger I've ever had in a restaurant. My food came quickly, was very affordable, and tasted amazing. Craft Kings really sets the bar for what a restaurant should aim for.

This place is a gem ! Excellent craft beer ! Relaxed atmosphere. I had the nachos & Apple pie . Very delicious. Amanda & Makayla were fun to chat with. If you’re hungry , thirsty or looking to relax , you’ve got to check this place out

One of the few good restaurants near Summersville Lake. The staff are very kind and the food was delicious. However, it did take about 50 minutes for our food to come out. I noticed my meal sitting on the warming rack for quite some time before it was delivered. We were beyond starving. And, they did not send out our mac and cheese - we had to ask for it. Our waitress was confused and thought we did not want the mac n cheese - hilarious. A bit over priced as well.

On a trip from New York to North Carolina we stopped here for dinner. I had read all the reviews and I can say that everyone was right, it does take a long time for your food to be prepared. Two of the meals we ordered had the option of homemade potato chips as a side. This was the only other negative thing about this place as the quality was that of a cheap bagged potato chip. Other than the things mentioned above everything else was excellent. The dining area is very small but we were seated at the bar right away. Both waitresses that we dealt with were very friendly and courteous. The food was AMAZING!. Although the beer selection was small all the craft choices were local and they had the usual big names. I would highly reccomend eating here.

Everything was great. Freshly prepared great flavors. The king fries were super crispy and delicious. Steak was very good and the mashed potatoes were seasoned just right. Not overly garlicky like some places.

Food was amazing! Great service and very accommodating for our group of 8. Not a huge selection of beer (about 6 craft beers) but the ones they have were good. This is not a sports bar... It's emphasis is on food and their selection of beer. If you are a foodie, this place is for you. You can really tell the owners take pride and put a lot of effort into their menu. Great spot!

Best food I have had at a restaurant in years! The food was fresh and full of flavor. Great local beer selection too! The staff made me feel like I was stepping into friends house for a visit and they were glad to see me.

Very small restaurant, and a generous menu. Always an amazing experience with a welcoming environment. Do yourself a favor and try the peanut butter pie.

Came by to drop off their shirts and hats- we stayed and had dinner. WE ARE FANS! GREAT FOOD and WONDERFUL ATMOSPHERE! Great job by the #craftkings team

Very nice beer selection. I had a Mothman IPA, which was a flavorful black IPA. The wife had an Alpha Blonde that she enjoyed. The food was a big step above bar food. Highly recommend!Update 8 months later (2018-12-21): passing through this area again and so stopped for lunch. So glad that I did! Great selection of local brews. Very nice menu choices. This place is a gem.

We dined with our family of 5 (3 kids under 7). We enjoyed ourselves! Food was made to order. Our kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and kettle chips as well as the awesomely breaded chicken strips. They had some pretty tasty local beers from all over the state of WV! The fish and chips was where it’s at! It came with breaded fries, jalapeño cheddar hush puppies and some amazing tartar sauce that completed the meal! It will be another stop on our next visit to Summersville! Our server was awesome and attentive! Enjoyed our experience!

Craft Kings is a very clean, and very tasty restaurant. However, I came with a party of 8 and this place took such a long time getting the food to us. The place wasn’t even crowded! I think they have some serious logistical issues in the kitchen. Our server was kind and apologetic. Foods great! just move faster y’all and don’t prioritize new tables and the bar over other parties that already here.

Who ever came up with the menu choices did a fantastic job! The food is definitely worth the wait. Plan on staying for awhile and sampling the many beers they also have and then dig into your food

I read the other comments and came here with an open mind. The food was great!! Yes, it was slow but it this isn’t a fast food chain. The food was well worth the wait. Our server was awesome. She checked up on us frequently and answered any questions we had. I’d definitely come eat here again!I (personally) would have liked a choice of more than one porter/stout but the one they have is ok.

The food was great, get the loaded fries. They have locally brewed beer, but not always on tap. The cheeseburgers are very good. It is a hidden gem. I have driven past this place many times and didn't know it was there. The venue is small but intimate. It was a very enjoyable dining experience.

It's hard to rate this one because they have THE BEST cheese fries ever made but also the greasiest cheese burgers. The buns were soaked in grease and I had to disgaurd them and this has happened twice. They serve their drinks in bottles. ( Sprite bottle, Pepsi bottle, ect.) but it is always clean and the staff is always friendly.

Great food!! Very limited on the craft beers however but they are local to WV

Slowest service I've ever experienced

Kayaking Summersville Lake was amazing only to be followed up with a trip to the local Craft Kings just a couple miles away. We had remarkable food, amazing service, and the beer was incredible. There was not a single negative remark that came from the four of us. This was an amazing spot to stop by and we all had a wonderful experience!

Great food!!! Found this place through Google driving home back to Charleston WV from snowshoe mt. The cheddar hush puppies are AMAZING with honey butter.Steak and steak and cheese sub also very nice. Very clean restaurant, and great server very friendly.

Very good beers and excellent food. I waited quite a bit for my food, but I wasn’t in a rush and they knocked a beer off my tab for the inconvenience. I’ll be coming back here whenever I’m passing through for sure.

We had lunch here, and the food was fantastic. The wings were absolutely perfect. Atmosphere was comfortable, and the craft beer selection was good. The staff could not have been better or more attentive. Prices weren’t bad at all but were a little higher, although I think that’s expected at any kind of restaurant like this. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone.

What a nice place! The service was friendly and professional, the food was delicious--try the King Fries for a whole new appreciation of the humble potato--and the small dining room appealing. Can't wait to go back in warm weather and try the outdoor dining space!

I had a pale ale, a spinach artichoke dip, and a candied bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich. All three were very good. I would recommend all three. I wanted the charcuterie board, but it wasn't available. Now for the down side. We had to wait a bit Tobe seated, then wait another hour to get food. It was busy, but I still feel the wait was excessive. My wife ordered a salad and we ended up getting that to go because everyone else was already done eating. Her salad was just a Cobb that was just lunch meat style ham turkey and swiss. Not sure how that took so long to make. The server was very friendly and ended up comping the salad for us. We really appreciated that gesture Food and drink very good. Service slow. Overall a thumbs up!

I love this place !!! It’s a great atmosphere inside, but they also have an adorable deck out back (I love outdoor seating!). The service is always great too!! These things along make it wonderful, but then you have the food...the menu has wonderful, unique options!! The chef isn’t afraid to try unique combinations, which provides a great dining experience!! My only problem with this restaurant is that I don’t live closer to eat at it more often 😜

The food is so delicious. Wait time for the food is very long. Today we placed our order at 11:50 am and were served at 1:00 pm. Best to call in your order before you get there. So was the hour wait worth it. Absolutely! I highly recommend that you someday eat at Craft Kings. Just make sure you are not in a hurry.

As soon as we arrived, the chef was welcoming us and asking us how we were. The waitress was patient with out large group and did a great job! The food was delicious. When we were leaving the chef told us to have a great day. It was a good atmosphere and I would definitely return.
